FREERIDE TRAINING PROGRAM

Service Description

A progression-focused freeride training experience designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to take the next step beyond the ski resort boundaries. Based entirely in Nozawa Onsen, Japan, this program combines freeride technique, mountain awareness and terrain understanding in real off-piste environments. The objective is not only to improve skiing performance in powder snow, but also to develop the skills and mindset required to move more safely and efficiently in natural mountain terrain. Throughout the training, participants will work on: • Powder skiing technique • Terrain reading and line selection • Speed control in natural terrain • Tree skiing fundamentals • Snow and terrain assessment • Basic risk evaluation and mountain decision-making • Adaptation to changing snow conditions This is not a beginner course. Participants should already feel comfortable skiing confidently on red and black runs in variable snow conditions. Nozawa Onsen offers the perfect environment to progress from resort skiing into real freeride terrain while experiencing authentic Japanese powder culture.
